Sainte-Geneviève is surrounded by the neighboring communities Vincy-Reuil-et-Magny in the west, Renneval in the northwest, Morgny-en-Thiérache in the north, Dolignon in the northeast, Chéry-lès-Rozoy in the southeast and Soize in the south.

history

On January 1, 2017, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement of Laon to the Arrondissement of Vervins by decree of the prefecture .
