Dorengt is a French municipality with 154 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vervins , the canton of Guise (until 2015 Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache ) and the municipal association Thiérache du Center .
geography
The place is crossed by the river Noirrieu , on the southern boundary of the municipality runs its tributary Iron . Dorengt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Neuville-lès-Dorengt in the west and north-west, Esquéhéries in the north-east and east, on a short section of Leschelle in the south-east, Lavaqueresse in the south and Iron in the south-west.
