Molain is a French municipality with 152 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vervins , the canton of Guise (until 2015 Wassigny ) and the municipal association Thiérache Sambre et Oise . At 1.81 km² it is the smallest municipality in the canton of Guise and the sixth smallest in the Aisne department.

geography

The Selle , a tributary of the Scheldt , has its source in Molain. The place is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-Rivière in the north, La Vallée-Mulâtre in the east, Vaux-Andigny in the south and the municipality of Busigny in the north in the west.
