Noircourt is a French municipality with 81 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to Arrondissement Vervins , the Canton of Vervins (2015 Rozoy-sur-Serre ) and the Association of Municipalities Portes de la Thiérache .

Noircourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montloué in the west, Soize in the northwest, Rozoy-sur-Serre in the northeast, Berlise in the east and Le Thuel in the south.

history

On January 1, 2017, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement of Laon to the Arrondissement of Vervins by decree of the prefecture .
