Coingt is a French municipality with 68 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Vervins , the canton of Hirson (until 2015 Aubenton ) and the Trois Rivières municipal association .

Coingt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jeantes in the west and north-west, Besmont in the north, Iviers in the east, Saint-Clément in the south and the communities of Cuiry-lès-Iviers in the canton of Vervins in the south-east and Dagny-Lambercy in the south-west.
