Busigny is a French commune with 2,482 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the canton of Le Cateau-Cambrésis (until 2015: canton of Clary ). The inhabitants are called Croquands or Busignois .
geography
Busigny is on the border with the Aisne department . Busigny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maurois in the north and northwest, Honnechy in the north, Saint-Souplet in the northeast, Molain in the east, Vaux-Andigny in the southeast, Becquigny in the south, Prémont in the southwest and Maretz in the west.
