Béthencourt is a French village with 749 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the canton of Caudry (until 2015: canton of Carnières ). The inhabitants are called Béthencourtois .

geography

Béthencourt is about 14 kilometers east-southeast of Cambrai . The Erclin flows through the church. Béthencourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Quiévy in the north, Viesly in the east and north-east, Beaumont-en-Cambrésis in the east and south-east, Caudry in the south, Beauvois-en-Cambrésis in the west and Bévillers in the west and north-west.
