Thun-Saint-Martin is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Cambrai (until 2015 canton Cambrai-Est ) in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . It is bordered by Thun-l'Évêque to the west and northwest , Iwuy to the northeast, Naves to the southeast and Escaudœuvres to the southwest . The residents call themselves Martiniens .
During the revolution the municipality was called “Thun-les-Marais”.
