Escaudœuvres is a French municipality with 3257 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the canton of Cambrai (until 2015: canton of Cambrai-Est ). The inhabitants are called Scaldobrigiens .
Escaudœuvres is 3.5 kilometers northeast of Cambrai , 30 kilometers from Valenciennes and 28 kilometers from Douai on the banks of the Scheldt . Neighboring municipalities are: Cambrai, Cagnoncles , Cauroir , Eswars , Naves , Ramillies , Thun-l'Évêque and Thun-Saint-Martin .
