Saint-Benin is a municipality with 340 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Le Cateau-Cambrésis in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . It is bordered by Le Cateau-Cambrésis to the north and east , Saint-Souplet to the south and Honnechy to the west . The residents call themselves Saint-Beninois or Saint-Beninoises. The Selle flows through Saint-Benin . Saint-Benin is on the railway line from Busigny to Aulnoye-Aymeries . The nearest train stations, served by the SNCF , are in Honnechy and Le Cateau-Cambrésis.
