Estourmel is a French village with 461 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the canton of Caudry (until 2015: canton of Carnières ). The inhabitants are called Estourmelois .

geography

Estourmel is about seven kilometers east-southeast of Cambrai . Estourmel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cauroir in the north and north-west, Carnières in the north and east, Cattenières in the south and south-east, Wambaix in the south and south-west and Awoingt in the west.
