Cagnoncles is about six kilometers east-northeast of Cambrai . Neighboring municipalities are Naves in the north, Rieux-en-Cambrésis in the east and north-east, Carnières in the east and south-east, Cauroir in the south and south-west and Escaudœuvres in the west.
