Rieux-en-Cambresis is a French village with 1,445 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the canton of Caudry (until 2015: canton of Carnières ). The inhabitants are called Rieuxois .
geography
Rieux-en-Cambrésis is about nine kilometers east-northeast of Cambrai . Rieux-en-Cambrésis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Iwuy in the north and north-west, Villers-en-Cauchies in the north-east, Avesnes-les-Aubert in the east and south-east, Carnières in the south, Cagnoncles in the south-west and Naves in the west.
