Haussy is a French commune with 1,531 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cambrai and the Canton of Caudry (until 2015: Canton Solesmes ).

geography

Haussy is located about 15 kilometers south-southwest of Valenciennes and about 18 kilometers east-northeast of Cambrai . The river Selle flows through the community . Haussy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Verchain-Maugré in the north, Vendegies-sur-Écaillon in the north and northeast, Saint-Martin-sur-Écaillon in the northeast, Vertain in the east, Saint-Python in the south, and Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis in the South-west, Saint-Aubert to the west and south-west and Montrécourt to the west and north-west.
