Bantigny is a French commune in the Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Cambrai (until 2015 canton Cambrai-Ouest ) in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . It borders in the north on Hem-Lenglet , in the northeast on Paillencourt , in the east on Thun-l'Évêque , in the southeast and in the south on Cuvillers , in the southwest on Blécourt and in the west on Abancourt . The settlement area is 48 meters above sea level. The residents call themselves Bantignois.
