Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis is a French municipality with 888 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Caudry (until 2015 canton of Solesmes ) in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . The residents call themselves Védastois .
Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis is bordered by Saint-Aubert to the north- west and north , Haussy to the north-east, Saint-Python to the east, Viesly to the south-east and Saint-Hilaire-lez-Cambrai to the south and south-west .
