Tilloy-lez-Cambrai is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Cambrai (until 2015 canton Cambrai-Ouest ) in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . It is bordered by Blécourt to the north, Ramillies to the northeast, Cambrai to the east, Neuville-Saint-Rémy to the south, Raillencourt-Sainte-Olle to the southwest and Sancourt to the west . The municipality marker is crossed by the A2 autoroute , combined with the Europastraße 19 . The inhabitants call themselves Tilloysiens . The village already existed around the year 640 under the name Tilletum . From the 11th / 12th It is mentioned as Tiletum and Tiliodium in the 19th century .
