Catillon-sur-Sambre is a commune in northern France . It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Cambrai arrondissement and the Le Cateau-Cambrésis canton . It is bordered by Ors to the north, La Groise to the east, Fesmy-le-Sart to the southeast, Rejet-de-Beaulieu to the south, Mazinghien to the southwest and Bazuel to the west . The settlement area is 153 meters above sea level. The residents call themselves Catillonais .
The canalized Sambre runs through the village.
