The Erclin (sometimes also: Erclain ) is a river in France that runs in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises in the local area of the municipality of Maurois , generally drains in a north-westerly direction through the former province of Cambrésis and flows into the canalized Scheldt after 34 kilometers at Iwuy as a right tributary .
