Baron Emanuel Heinrich Komers von Lindenbach (born December 20, 1810 in Humpoletz , Bohemia ; † January 18, 1889 in Žáky , Bohemia) was an Austrian lawyer and politician who was Minister of Justice between 1865 and 1867.

Life

Emanuel Heinrich Komers von Lindenbach was a brother of the agricultural specialist Anton Emanuel von Komers and the military lawyer Karl Eduard von Komers . The lawyer joined in 1832 as an employee of Militärauditoriat in the civil service and in 1849 as a Major - Auditor for Legislativkommission the Reich War Ministry in Frankfurt sent. In 1850 he moved to the civil service as a higher regional judge in Bohemia and became president of the regional court of furnace in 1854 and president of the regional court of Pest in 1856 . He then moved in 1861 as Vice President of the Higher Regional Court in Prague and in 1863 took over the post of President of the Higher Regional Court in Krakow .

On July 27, 1865, Komers von Lindenbach was appointed Minister of Justice in the Belcredi Ministry and subsequently held this position at the Beust Ministry until June 27, 1867, whereupon Anton Hye von Glunek succeeded him. After leaving the ministry, he served as president of the Lemberg Higher Regional Court between 1867 and his retirement in 1871 . In 1869 he became a baron .

His son was Lieutenant Field Marshal Camillo Komers Freiherr von Lindenbach .
