List of depictions of the blood miracle of Walldürn
This list contains representations of the blood miracle of Walldürn , which founded the pilgrimage to Walldürn in the Neckar-Odenwald district in Baden-Württemberg . The representations in the form of wayside shrines , altars , chapels , reliefs or the like are based on a corporal (altar ceiling made of linen) from 1330 with a picture of Jesus crucified in the pilgrimage basilica of St. George there. Therefore, the representations are usually on various pilgrimage routes to Walldürn. The blood miracle is only mentioned by an inscription on individual wayside shrines. The list is sorted alphabetically by place names, includes existing and former representations and does not claim to be complete.
