The Thérouanne is a river in France that runs in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region . It rises in the urban area of Saint-Pathus and generally drains in a south-easterly direction. Above Congis-sur-Thérouanne branches of the Canal de la Thérouanne from which the shipping canal Ourcq canal supplied with water. The river crosses under the canal, turns sharply to the southwest and after a total of 23 kilometers flows into the municipality of Congis-sur-Thérouanne as a right tributary into a tributary of the Marne .
