Carnetin is a French municipality with 454 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Torcy and the canton of Lagny-sur-Marne (until 2015: canton of Thorigny-sur-Marne ). The inhabitants are called Carnetinois .
geography
Carnetin is located about 30 kilometers east-northeast of Paris . Carnetin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Annet-sur-Marne in the north and northeast, Thorigny-sur-Marne in the south and southeast, Pomponne in the southwest and Villevaudé in the west.
