geography
The Marne River forms the northern boundary and the Gondoire the southern boundary . Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pomponne in the north, Lagny-sur-Marne in the north-east, Gouvernes in the east, Bussy-Saint-Martin in the south and south-west and Torcy in the west.
The A104 autoroute and the former Route nationale 34 run through the municipality .
