The Cabane de Moiry is an alpine refuge of the Montreux section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). It is located in the Swiss Alps on a promontory opposite the Zinalrothorn , above Zinal at an altitude of 2825 m above sea level. M.
History of the hut
The mountain hut was built in 1924 with 35 seats. A modern extension took place in 2010.
Summit tours and crossings
The following summit tours are possible from the hut: Grand Cornier ( 3962 m ), Pointes de Mourti ( 3563 m and 3529 m ), Aiguilles de la Lé , Dent des Rosses ( 3613 m ), Pointe de Bricola ( 3657 m ) and Pigne de la Lé ( 3396 m ).
Crossings to Zinal and Cabane du Mountet go over the Col de la Cabane , the Col de la Lé and the Col du Pigne .
