Mairie Lizines

Lizines is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the Ile-de-France . It was created in 1874 when the previous municipality of Lizines-Sognolles was divided into Sognolles-en-Montois and Lizines. Lizines belongs to the canton of Provins in the arrondissement of the same name . It is bordered to the north by Maison-Rouge , to the east by Saint-Loup-de-Naud , to the southeast by Savins and to the south and west by Sognolles-en-Montois. The residents call themselves Lizinois . The village has Gallo-Roman origins.
