action
After traveling around the world, the judge Max Althammer wants to pursue his old job a few years before retiring. He gets a job as a judge in a district court outside of Munich. Nevertheless, he would like to continue living in Munich, this is how taxi driver Frieda Mirko comes into play, an old friend who drives him from A to B and who rather happens to do small tasks and thus has to contribute to some convictions.

The shooting of the first season took place in the summer of 2017. The fourth full-length episode was shot from the end of April 2019 to the end of May 2019. Franz Xaver Kroetz was not available for this production. The main role was newly cast with Harald Krassnitzer as judge Bachleitner. Über Land is produced by Mecom Fiction.
