Angela Ascher (born December 26, 1977 in Landshut , Bavaria ) is a German actress .

life and career

Ascher grew up like her sister Simone Ascher (also an actress) in Dorfen , where her father Simon Ascher was a teacher at the local secondary school . She gained her first acting experience with the Dorfener Gymnasium theater group. Ascher is married and has two daughters. She lives in Munich and Vienna.

Ascher completed her artistic training from 1997 to 2001 at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . She also received a DAAD scholarship from 1999 to 2000 at the Los Angeles Film School .

Ascher was engaged at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg , the Thalia Theater (Hamburg) , the Theater Oberhausen and the Theater Chemnitz . From 2009 to 2010 she played at the Schauspielhaus Wien . In 2010 she played in episodes of the ARD - telenovela Sturm der Liebe the role of singer Chandana .

At the strong beer tasting at Munich's Nockherberg in 2011, which was broadcast live by Bavarian television , Ascher took on the role of Christine Haderthauer for the first time in the Singspiel , which she also took on in 2012.
