Christoph Jacobi

Christoph Jacobi (born December 19, 1970 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Christoph Jacobi initially trained as a bookseller and studied from 1991 to 1995 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. When acting school meeting in Vienna he received in 1993 for his role in Ilan Hatsors play Masked directed by Ulrich Mühe a Best Actor Award. He played his first stage role in 1994 at the Volksbühne Berlin as Brick in Die Cat on the Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams . From 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the Bremer Shakespeare Company .

As a director, he directed Salzwasser by Conor McPherson at the bremer shakespeare company in 2005 , Monsieur Ibrahim and the flowers of the Koran by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt at the Schnürschuh Theater in Bremen in 2013 , Tschick by Wolfgang Herrndorf in 2015 and The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery in 2018 . At the same time he works as a coach for presentation and speaking techniques, as an acting teacher and director in Bremen and Oldenburg and as the leader of three of his own theater groups.

Current productions as actors on stage are: The Good Thief and Salt Water by Conor McPherson, Terror by Ferdinand von Schirach in the Bremen Criminal Theater and a music solo evening with the musician Sebastian Kemper.

Christoph Jacobi worked as an actor in various film and television productions . These include the feature films The Promise of Margarethe von Trotta and Aimée & Jaguar directed by Max Färberböck .

He appeared as a performer in television series such as Sperling , Der Ermittler , SOKO Wismar , SOKO Cologne , SOKO Leipzig , In all friendship - The young doctors , There comes Kalle , Notruf Hafenkante and Coast Guard . In the series Schloss Einstein and Rote Rosen , he took on guest roles for a few episodes each. In 2011 he starred as Stefan Aldinger in the TV film Trench Warfare from the Tatort TV series . In Germany, it had its premiere on September 29, 2019 at the Hamburg Film Festival.

In May / June 2019, filming for the TV feature film Auf dem Grund began at the same time as the shooting for the TV series Die Bergretter in der Steiermark , directed by Heinz Dietz. The TV feature film Auf dem Grund premiered at the Hamburg Film Festival on September 28, 2019.

Starting with the theater production ... and Michael Rooney's money rushing forever , the directing work started at the Union Theater Bremen and continued with the direction for Murder by Sex by Joan Shirley at the Statt-Theater Vegesack.

From October 2019 the play Sluder Tanten Tratsch by Ralph Wallner also premiered at Oberneulander Speeldeel.

At the beginning of the 2019/20 winter semester, two teaching assignments at the University of Arts in Social Affairs in Ottersberg followed.

The TV series Die Kanzlei , directed by Steffi Doehlemann, was due to be shot again in December 2019.

As a theater director in 2020 he was responsible for Keen Utkamen mit'm Inkamen by Fritz Wempner at the Niederdeutsche Theater Delmenhorst, for An Unequal Couple by Neil Simon at the Union Theater Bremen, and for the collage Stand Up at the Ottersberg Waldorf School.
