The Enns judicial district was subordinate to the Enns District Court in the political district of Linz-Land (state of Upper Austria ). The judicial district was next to the judicial district Traun one of two judicial districts in the political district Linz-Land. On January 1, 2014, the area was added to the Steyr judicial district.
history
The Enns judicial district was formed on July 4, 1850 by a decree of the Linz Higher Regional Court from the 15 tax communities of Asten , Enns , Hargelsberg , Hiesendorf , Kristein , Kronstorf , Lorch , Moos , Penking , Raffelstetten , Schieferegg , Sieding , Stallbach , Thann and Volkersdorf .
Due to the amalgamation of municipalities, the Enns judicial district only consisted of the four municipalities of Asten , Enns , Hargelsberg and Kronstorf at the end of 2004 . In the course of the dissolution of numerous judicial districts in Upper Austria, the district court ordinance of the Austrian federal government on November 12, 2002 resolved to dissolve the judicial district of Neuhofen an der Krems , whereby the communities of the judicial district of Neuhofen were added to the judicial district of Linz-Land (today the judicial district of Traun ) . At the same time, however, the Linz-Land judicial district gave the communities Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Sankt Florian and Niederneukirchen to the Enns judicial district.
On January 1, 2014, the Enns judicial district was dissolved and the seven municipalities were assigned to the Steyr judicial district.
Courthouse
Since 2005, the court district has included the seven communities of Asten , Enns , Hargelsberg , Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Kronstorf , Niederneukirchen and Sankt Florian .
