The judicial district Windischgarsten was the District Court Windischgarsten under standing judicial district in the political district of Kirchdorf (federal state Upper Austria ).
history
The judicial district Windischgarsten was created as a judicial district Spital by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally included the twelve tax communities Edlbach , Fahrenberg , Gleinkerau , Hinterstoder , Pichl , Ponkratz , Rading , Rosenau , Roßleithen , Spital , Vorderstoder and Windischgarsten .
Only later was the court seat moved from Spital am Pyhrn to Windischgarsten.
In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district Windischgarsten together with the judicial districts Kirchdorf and Grünburg formed the district Kirchdorf .
After the decision to dissolve the judicial district of Grünburg in the district court ordinance of the Austrian federal government on November 12, 2002, the decision was made to dissolve the judicial district of Windischgarsten as part of the administrative reform and budget savings. In 2012, the responsible district court in Windischgarsten had less than one full judge's post, making it one of the three smallest district courts in Upper Austria. The dissolution of the Windischgarsten judicial district was finally decreed in June 2012 and became officially effective on January 1, 2013. The judicial district of Windischgarsten was fully integrated into the judicial district of Kirchdorf , which means that it covers the entire district of Kirchdorf .
Courthouse
After several parishes were merged with the last eight parishes of Edlbach , Hinterstoder , Rosenau am Hengstpaß , Roßleithen , St. Pankraz , Spital am Pyhrn , Vorderstoder and Windischgarsten, the court district comprised the southern part of the Kirchdorf district.
