The Engelhartszell judicial district (initially Engelszell ) was a judicial district in the district of Schärding ( Upper Austria ) that was subordinate to the Engelhartszell District Court . The judicial district was dissolved on January 1, 2003 and the area was assigned to the Schärding judicial district.

history

The judicial district Engelhartszell was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the 23 tax communities Altendorf , Aschenberg , Au , Engelhartszell , Entholzen , Ginzelsdorf , Glatzing , Hackendorf , Kiesdorf , Kopfing , Kösseldorf , Neukirchendorf , Oberaichberg , Pyrawang , Ried , Schauern , St. Aegidi , Stadl , Unteraichberg , Urschendorf , Vichtenstein , Wesenurfahr and Wetzendorf .

In the course of the separation of the political and judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts of Peuerbach , Raab and Schärding formed the district of Schärding .

With the District Court Ordinance of the Austrian Federal Government on November 12, 2002, the resolution of the Engelhartszell judicial district and the assignment of the area to the Schärding judicial district was resolved. The ordinance came into force on January 1, 2003.

At the time of the dissolution, the court district comprised the seven communities Engelhartszell , Esternberg , Kopfing im Innkreis , Sankt Aegidi , St. Roman , Vichtenstein and Waldkirchen am Wesen .
