The judicial district of Green Castle was the District Court Grünburg under standing judicial district which is partly in the political district of Kirchdorf or in Steyr-Land District (State of Upper Austria was). The judicial district was dissolved on January 1, 2003 and the area was assigned to the judicial districts of Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr .

history

The judicial district Grünburg was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the 21 tax communities Adelwang , Auserbraitenau , Eggmayer , Emsenhueb , Forstau , Innerbraitenau , Leonstein , Molln , Nikola , Obergrünburg , Pernzell , Pesendorf , Piselwang , Ramsau , Steinbach , Steinersdorf , Untergrünburg , Wagenhub , Waldneukirchen , Weissenbach and Zehentner .

The judicial district Grünburg was originally named judicial district Steinbach or judicial district Untergrünbach and was finally named in 1854 in judicial district Grünburg .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district formed the district of Kirchdorf together with the judicial districts of Kirchdorf and Windischgarsten .

After the formation of the Adlwang community on January 21, 1893, parts of the Nussbach community that had been added to the newly formed Adlwang community were subordinated to the Grünburg district on March 1, 1895 .

After the National Socialists came to power, the communities of Adlwang and Waldneukirchen were removed from the Kirchdorf district and assigned to the Steyr Land district. The judicial district of Grünburg was subsequently divided between the two districts of Kirchdorf and Steyr Land.

With the District Court Ordinance of the Austrian Federal Government on November 12, 2002, it was decided to dissolve the Grünburg judicial district and assign the area to the Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr judicial districts. On January 1, 2003, the ordinance came into force and the communities of Adlwang and Waldneukirchen were added to the judicial district of Steyr . The communities Grünburg , Molln and Steinbach an der Steyr were in turn assigned to the judicial district of Kirchdorf an der Krems .
