The judicial district Kremsmünster was the District Court Kremsmuenster under standing judicial district which is partly in the political district of Kirchdorf or in Steyr-Land District (State of Upper Austria was). The judicial district was dissolved on January 1, 2003 and the area was assigned to the judicial districts of Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr .

history

The judicial district of Kremsmünster was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the 34 tax communities Au , Dieppersdorf , Dirnberg , Eberstalzell , Feyregg , Fierling , Großmengersdorf , Hall , Hehenberg , Kirchberg , Kremsegg , Kremsmünster , Krift , Leombach , Mairdorf , Mayrsdorf , Möderndorf , Mühlgrub , Penzendorf , Pfarrkirchen , Ried , Rohr , Rührndorf , Sadlödt , Schachadorf , Schnarrendorf , Sipbachzell , Strinzing , Unterburgfried , Voitsdorf , Wartberg , Wipfing , Wolfgangstein and Zenndorf .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts of Steyr , Weyer and Neuhofen formed the district of Steyr-Land .

After the National Socialists came to power, the communities of Kremsmünster Land , Kremsmünster-Markt , Ried im Traunkreis and Wartberg an der Krems were separated from the Steyr Land district and assigned to the Kirchdorf district. The judicial district of Kremsmünster was then divided into the two districts of Kirchdorf and Steyr Land.

With the District Court Ordinance of the Austrian Federal Government on November 12, 2002, it was decided to dissolve the Kremsmünster judicial district and assign the area to the Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr judicial districts. The ordinance came into force on January 1, 2003 and the municipalities of Kremsmünster , Ried im Traunkreis and Wartberg an der Krems were added to the Kirchdorf an der Krems judicial district. The parishes of Bad Hall , parish churches near Bad Hall and Rohr im Kremstal were assigned to the Steyr judicial district.
