history
The judicial district was established on July 4, 1850 with a decree of the Linz Higher Regional Court from the 25 tax communities Achleiten , Alhaming , Brandstatt , Burg , Dambach , Droissendorf , Egendorf , Fischen , Grassing , Gries , Kematen , Kiesenberg , Kimmersdorf , Kurzenkirchen , Laimgräben , Linning , Neuhofen , Nöstlbach , Oberndorf , Piberbach , Pichlwang , Puking , Sinnersdorf , St. Leonhard , Tiestling , Weichstätten , Weissenberg , Weißkirchen and Weyerbach . Due to the amalgamation of municipalities, the judicial district of Neuhofen an der Krems in 2004 only consisted of the seven municipalities Allhaming , Eggendorf im Traunkreis , Kematen an der Krems , Neuhofen an der Krems , Piberbach, Pucking and St. Marien . In the course of the dissolution of numerous judicial districts in Upper Austria, the district court ordinance of the Austrian federal government on November 12, 2002 resolved to dissolve the judicial district of Neuhofen an der Krems, whereby the communities of the judicial district of Neuhofen were added to the judicial district of Linz-Land (today the judicial district of Traun ) . At the same time, however, the Linz-Land judicial district gave the communities Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Sankt Florian and Niederneukirchen to the Enns judicial district.
