The judicial district of Aigen was the District Court Aigen under standing judicial district in political Rohrbach District (State of Upper Austria ). The judicial district was dissolved in 2003 and the area was assigned to the Rohrbach judicial district.

history

The judicial district of Aigen was created together with 46 other judicial districts in Upper Austria by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the twelve tax communities Aigen , Bärdetschlag , Hintenberg , Julbach , Klaffer , Kramel , Oedenkirchen , Schindelau , Schlägel , Schwarzenberg , Ulrichsberg and Unterneudorf .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts Rohrbach , Haslach , Lembach and Neufelden formed the Rohrbach district .

The official seat of the judicial district was originally in the municipality of Schlägl, but was changed on February 1, 1873 by an ordinance of the k. k. Ministry of Justice moved to Aigen.

In 1923, after the Haslach judicial district was dissolved, the municipality of Sankt Oswald bei Haslach was also subordinated to the judicial district .

Through the amalgamation of municipalities, the number of municipalities was reduced from the original 12 or 13 municipalities to the seven municipalities of Aigen im Mühlkreis , Julbach , Klaffer am Hochficht , Schlägl , Sankt Oswald bei Haslach , Schwarzenberg am Böhmerwald and Ulrichsberg by the beginning of the 21st century . With the District Court Ordinance of the Austrian Federal Government on November 12, 2002, the dissolution of the judicial district Aigen was decided and the assignment of the area to the judicial district Rohrbach determined.
