The Schwanenstadt judicial district was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the 22 tax communities of Atzbach , Ausserpühret , Bruckmühl , Desselbrunn , Deysing , Kemating , Lindach , Manning , Mitterberg , Niederthalheim , Oberndorf , Pitzenberg , Plötzenedt , Puchheim , Pühret , Redelham , Roitham , Rutzenham , Schlatt , Schwannenstadt , Windern and Wolfsegg . In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts Mondsee , Frankenmarkt and Vöcklabruck formed the district of Vöcklabruck . Through the amalgamation of municipalities, the number of municipalities was gradually reduced to 14 municipalities. The ordinance came into force on January 1, 2005.
