The judicial district Eferding is a judicial district subordinate to the district court Eferding in the political districts Eferding and Grieskirchen (federal state Upper Austria ). The judicial district is the only judicial district in the political district of Eferding.

history

The judicial district Eferding was created together with 46 other judicial districts in Upper Austria by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally included the 24 tax communities Alkoven , Annaberg , Aschach an der Donau , Eferding , Finklham , Fraham , Hartheim , Hartkirchen , Haibach whether the Danube , Hinzenbach , Hörstorf , Mannsdorf , Mayrhof , Oed in Bergen , Polsing , Puchham , Pupping , Oberrudling , Oberschaden , Scharten , Schaumberg , Straß , Großstroheim and Wackersbach .

As part of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts of Wels, Waizenkirchen, Grieskirchen and Lambach formed the district of Wels .

In 1907, the Eferding district was formed from the Eferding judicial district together with the Waizenkirchen judicial district, with the district administration taking up its work on August 12, 1907.

The judicial district Waizenkirchen was dissolved again in 1923, with Prambachkirchen and St. Marienkirchen an der Polsenz being added to the judicial district Eferding. All other communities of the judicial district Waizenkirchen, however, came to the judicial districts Grieskirchen and Peuerbach. At the same time, these municipalities were also removed from the Eferding district and assigned to the Grieskirchen district.

On January 1, 2014, the Peuerbach judicial district was dissolved and the communities of Eschenau im Hausruckkreis , Heiligenberg , Natternbach , Neukirchen am Walde and St. Agatha were assigned to the Eferding judicial district.

The court district has encompassed the entire district of Eferding since 1923 and part of the district of Grieskirchen since 2014. These are the communities Alkoven , Aschach an der Donau , Eferding , Eschenau im Hausruckkreis , Fraham , Haibach ob der Donau , Hartkirchen , Heiligenberg , Hinzenbach , Natternbach , Neukirchen am Walde , Prambachkirchen , Pupping , St. Agatha , St. Marienkirchen an der Polsenz , Scharten and Stroheim .
