The judicial district of Steyr is the District Court of Steyr under standing judicial district , the statutory town of Steyr , the Steyr-Land District and part of the municipalities of the district Linz-Land covers.
history
The judicial district of Steyr was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the 36 tax communities of Aschach , Bäckengraben , Droissendorf , Garsten , Gleink , Gründberg , Hilbern , Jägerberg , Judendorf , Kleinraming , Kristkindl , Kroisbach , Lahrndorf , Losensteinleiten , Maria-Laah , Matzelsdorf , Mitterdietach , Mitteregg , Mühlbach , Neuzeug , Oberbrunnen , Oberdietach , Pergern , Pichlern , Schwarzenthal , Sierning , Sierninghofen , Stein , Steyr , Ternberg , Thanstatten , Trattenbach , Unterdambach , Unterdietach , Unterwald and Unterwolfern .
With the District Court Ordinance of the Austrian Federal Government on November 12, 2002, it was decided to dissolve the judicial districts Grünburg and Kremsmünster and assign the area to the judicial districts Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr. The ordinance came into force on January 1, 2003 and the municipalities of Adlwang , Bad Hall , Pfarrkirchen near Bad Hall , Rohr im Kremstal and Waldneukirchen were added to the Steyr judicial district.
On January 1, 2014, the Enns and Weyer judicial districts were dissolved and the communities assigned to the Steyr judicial district.

The court district includes the 28 communities Adlwang , Aschach an der Steyr , Asten , Bad Hall , Enns , Dietach , Gaflenz , Garsten , Großraming , Hargelsberg , Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Kronstorf , Laussa , Losenstein , Maria Neustift , Niederneukirchen , parish churches near Bad Hall , Reichraming , Rohr im Kremstal , Sankt Florian , St. Ulrich bei Steyr , Schiedlberg , Sierning , Steyr , Ternberg , Waldneukirchen , Weyer and Wolfern, the statutory town of Steyr and the entire Steyr-Land district, as well as part of the Linz-Land district.
