The judicial district Peuerbach was the District Court Peuerbach under standing judicial district in political Grieskirchen (federal state Upper Austria ).
history
The judicial district of Peuerbach was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the seven tax communities Eschenau , Natternbach , Neukirchen am Walde , Peuerbach , Bruck an der Aschach , Steegen and Waasen .
In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts Engelszell , Raab and Schärding formed the district of Schärding .
In 1911, the district of Grieskirchen was formed from the judicial district of Peuerbach together with the judicial district of Grieskirchen and the judicial district of Haag am Hausruck , with the district administration taking up its work on July 1, 1911.
In 1923, through the dissolution of the judicial district Waizenkirchen in the district of Eferding, the communities of the judicial district Waizenkirchen were divided into the judicial districts of Eferding, Grieskirchen and Peuerbach, with the communities of Heiligenberg , Kallham and Waizenkirchen falling to the judicial district of Peuerbach .
The discussion about the closure of district courts, which began in the context of the administrative reform and budget savings in 2011/12, led to the decision to close the Peuerbach district court, as there was only one full judge's post in 2012. The dissolution of the judicial district of Peuerbach was finally decreed in June 2012 and became legally effective on January 1, 2014. As a result of the ordinance, the five municipalities of Eschenau im Hausruckkreis , Heiligenberg , Natternbach , Neukirchen am Walde and St. Agatha became part of the Eferding judicial district and the five municipalities of Bruck-Waasen , Kallham , Peuerbach , Steegen and Waizenkirchen became part of the Grieskirchen judicial district .
