The judicial district Weyer was the District Court Weyer under standing judicial district in the political district of Steyr-Land (federal state Upper Austria ). The judicial district was dissolved on January 1, 2014 and the area was assigned to the judicial district of Steyr .
history
The judicial district Weyer was created by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally included the 23 tax communities Anger , Arztberg , Blumau , Buchschachen , Dörfl , Gaflenz , Hintstein , Kleingschaidt , Kleinreifling , Lausa , Laussa , Losenstein , Lumpelgraben , Nach the Enns , Neudorf , Neustiftgraben , Oberpeißa , Pettendorf , Pichl , Platten , Reichraming , Stiedelsbach and Weyr .
In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district Weyer together with the Steyr , Kremsmünster and Neuhofen formed the district of Steyr-Land .
The Kremsmünster judicial district subsequently became part of the Kirchdorf district , and the Neuhofen an der Krems judicial district part of the Linz-Land district . Through the amalgamation of parishes, the number of parishes in the judicial district was gradually reduced to eight parishes.
The discussion about the closure of district courts, which began in the context of the administrative reform and budget savings in 2011/12, ultimately led to the decision to dissolve the Weyer judicial district. At that time, the responsible district court in Weyer had less than one full judge's post and was thus one of the three smallest district courts in Upper Austria. The liquidation of the judicial district of Weyer was finally decreed in June 2012 and became officially effective on January 1, 2014.
Courthouse
The court district comprised the eight communities of Gaflenz , Großraming , Laussa , Losenstein , Maria Neustift , Reichraming and Weyer, the southern part of the Steyr-Land district.
