history

The judicial district Linz-Land had been part of the judicial district Linz until 1958 and was established in that year from the land district of the judicial district Linz and the dissolved judicial district Sankt Florian.

Until the end of 2004, the Linz-Land judicial district comprised the communities Ansfelden , Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Hörsching , Kirchberg-Thening , Leonding , Niederneukirchen , Oftering , Pasching , St. Florian , Traun and Wilhering .

In the course of the dissolution of numerous judicial districts in Upper Austria, the district court ordinance of the Austrian federal government on November 12, 2002 resolved to dissolve the judicial district of Neuhofen an der Krems . As a result, the municipalities of the dissolved Neuhofen an der Krems District Court ( Allhaming , Eggendorf im Traunkreis , Kematen an der Krems , Neuhofen an der Krems , Piberbach , Pucking , St. Marien ) and the judicial district were assigned to the Linz-Land judicial district Linz-Land at the same time had to cede the municipalities of Hofkirchen im Traunkreis, Niederneukirchen and St. Florian to the Enns judicial district .

Since January 1, 2005, the judicial district has therefore included the communities Allhaming , Ansfelden , Eggendorf im Traunkreis , Hörsching , Kematen an der Krems , Kirchberg-Thening , Leonding , Neuhofen an der Krems , Oftering , Pasching , Piberbach , Pucking , St. Marien , Traun and Wilhering .
