The judicial district Lambach was the District Court Lambach under standing judicial district in the political district of Wels-Land (federal state Upper Austria ). The judicial district was, along with the judicial district of Wels, one of two judicial districts in the political district of Wels-Land and was added to the judicial district of Wels on January 1, 2013.

history

The judicial district was established on July 4, 1850 with a decree of the Linz Higher Regional Court from the 34 tax communities Aichkirchen , Almegg , Au , Bachloh , Bachmanning , Bergham , Breitenau , Edt , Felling , Großkrottendorf , Hammersedt , Humpelberg , Kemathen , Köstlwang , Kreisbichl , Krerham , Lambach , Mayrlambach , Meggenhofen , Neydharting , Neukirchen , Oberaustall , Offenhausen , Pfarrhofsberg , Schnelling , Stadl-Hausruck , Stadl-Traun , Staffel , Steinerkirchen (Traunkreis) , Steinerkirchen (Hausruckkreis) , Straß , Wilhelmberg , Wimsbach and Würting .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts of Wels , Eferding , Waizenkirchen and Grieskirchen formed the district of Wels .

In 1907 and 1911, however, the judicial districts of Eferding, Grieskirchen and Waizenkirchen were split off from the Wels district.

The Lambach judicial district itself also changed due to the relocation of communities to other judicial districts. On March 19, 1870, the municipality of Meggenhofen and on December 12, 1907 the municipality of Steinerkirchen am Innbach were transferred to the judicial district of Grieskirchen, and Lambach again received the municipality of Eberstalzell from the judicial district of Kremsmünster on January 1, 1915 . As a result of these territorial changes and repeated parish amalgamations, the number of parishes decreased from 34 to 11 over time.

On January 1, 2013, the judicial district was dissolved and the municipalities assigned to the judicial district of Wels .

Courthouse

The court district comprised the eleven communities of Aichkirchen , Bachmanning , Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting , Eberstalzell , Edt bei Lambach , Lambach , Neukirchen bei Lambach , Offenhausen , Pennewang , Stadl-Paura and Steinerkirchen an der Traun, the southwestern part of the Wels-Land district.
