The judicial district of Sankt Florian (also Markt St. Florian or St. Florian ) was a judicial district subordinate to the District Court of St. Florian in the political district of Linz-Land (state of Upper Austria ). The judicial district was dissolved on April 1, 1958.

history

The judicial district was established on July 4, 1850 with a decree of the Linz Higher Regional Court from the 29 tax communities Ansfelden , Dörfl , Ebelsberg , Enzing , Fernbach , Fleckendorf , Florian , Gemering , Grünbrunn , Harmannsdorf , Hofkirchen , Kremsdorf , Mickstätten , Mönchgraben , Nettingsdorf , Niederfrauenleiten , Niederneukirchen , Oberweidlham , Pichling , Posch , Rappeswinkel , Rohrbach , Rupprechtshofen , Samesleiten , Taunleiten , Tillisburg , Ufer , Unterweidlham and Wambach . Originally the judicial district of St. Florian was part of the Steyr Regional Court , but on October 1, 1875 it was subordinated to the Linz Regional Court .

After the First World War, the district of Sankt Florian only consisted of the six communities Ansfelden , Ebelsberg , Hofkirchen im Traunkreis , Kleinmünchen , Markt Sankt Florian and Niederneukirchen . In 1923 the judicial district lost the municipality of Kleinmünchen, which was incorporated into Linz, and the area of the judicial district was also reduced after the National Socialists came to power on November 1, 1938, when Ebelsberg was added to the city of Linz. As a result, the Nazi rulers dissolved the St. Florian judicial district on June 15, 1943, and the area became part of the Linz judicial district. After the end of World War II, however, the St. Florian judicial district continued to exist, with the judicial district finally being dissolved on April 1, 1958. The area of the former judicial district of St. Florian subsequently formed the judicial district of Linz-Land together with the district of the Linz judicial district .
