Großkrottendorf is a Rotte , a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Offenhausen in the Upper Austrian district of Wels-Land in the Hausruckviertel .

Großkrottendorf is located at 370 meters above sea level in the Grünbach valley, embedded in the hilly foothills of the Hausruck . The extension of the cadastral community is around 1.2 km from north to south, around 3 km from west to east, and its area is 2.97 km². The village has 83 inhabitants (as of 2001). The cadastral community also includes the villages of Aigen (12 inhabitants), Kurzenkirchen (12 inhabitants), Maierhof (8 inhabitants) and Untereggen (17 inhabitants).

Großkrottendorf has a volunteer fire brigade with 59 members.
