Neudorf (municipality of Gaflenz)

Neudorf is a cadastral municipality of the market town of Gaflenz in the Steyr-Land district in Upper Austria.

The cadastral municipality forms the western and southwestern municipal area of ​​Gaflenz. It consists of the districts of Neudorf and Lindau and has an area of ​​almost 1680  hectares .

According to the census of May 1, 2001, 276 people lived in Neudorf and 148 people in Lindau.

One of the sights of the community is the “Schürhagel house chapel” located in the Neudorf district. This is under monument protection ( list entry ).

The cadastral community has its own fire brigade, the Lindau-Neudorf volunteer fire brigade . This volunteer fire brigade was founded on July 13, 1929. In 1986 , the fire station was rebuilt independently so that the new small fire engine could be accommodated .
