Steinersdorf (colloquially: Schdān _ə schdorf ) is a district of the independent city of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Approx. The Erlbächlein rises 0.5 km northwest of the village in Süssfeld , and the Schollenbach approx. 0.3 km southeast, both right tributaries of the Franconian Rezat . In the southwest lies the Neudorfer Mühlranken and Onolzbach .

history

In 1288 the place was first mentioned in the will of Wolfram von Dornberg as "Steinhartsdorf". The defining word of the place name is the personal name Stainhard. A person of this name can be assumed to be the founder of the settlement.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684 eleven teams are recorded for Steinersdorf: the four farms, six estates and one estate all had the Hofkastenamt Ansbach as landlord . There was also a communal shepherd's house. The high court and the village and community authority exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were twelve properties in Steinersdorf (1 courtyard, 2 half courtyards, 9 Sölden estates ). The court office of Ansbach continued to exercise the high court, the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties. In addition to the property, there were also communal buildings (shepherd's house, breaker's house ). There were 11 subject families at that time. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Steinersdorf was assigned to the Schalkhausen tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Schalkhausen founded in 1811 . This was incorporated into the city of Ansbach on July 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform .

The place has been Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Nikolaus (Schalkhausen) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Ludwig (Ansbach) .

Municipal roads lead to Neudorf , Schmalenbach , Wasserzell to the B 13 and Schalkhausen to the state road 2246 .
