history

The mill was not yet mentioned in the Salbuch of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684. It was built in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach and also had the Hofkastenamt as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Mühlgut received the number 30 of the place Brodswinden when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the municipal edict, Brodswindermühle was assigned to the Brodswinden tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brodswinden, founded in 1811 . In the 19th century, the property included four parcels of arable and meadow land with a total of 2.6  hectares , together with house no. 3e 1 ha of water. In the official registers after 1885 the Brodswindermühle is no longer listed as a district.

On July 1, 1972, the Brodswindermühle was incorporated into the city of Ansbach as part of the regional reform .
