history

The Wasserzeller Mühle was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . The landlord was the Ansbach Abbey . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the mill received the number 17 of the place Wasserzell when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach . Numerous parcels of arable land and meadow belonged to the property, which were scattered around the Wasserzell district .

As part of the municipal edict, the Wasserzeller Mühle was assigned to the Schalkhausen tax district formed in 1809 . With the new formation of the tax district Neuses near Ansbach on June 23, 1810, the change took place there. It also belonged to the rural community of Neuses near Ansbach, founded in 1811 . In the official registers, the Wasserzeller mill was only explicitly mentioned by name in 1871 and 1885. Otherwise there are mentions in directories from 1820, 1832 and 1862.

On July 1, 1972, the Wasserzeller Mühle was incorporated into the city of Ansbach as part of the regional reform .
