Höfstettermühle is a residential area in the independent city of Ansbach in the administrative region of Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland now consists of six residential buildings. It is located on the Silberbach, which is a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat . A residential path leads 50 meters further north to a community road between Höfstetten (0.3 km west) and Wallersdorf (0.6 km east).

history

The mill is mentioned in the Salbuch of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684. It was located in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach and, like Höfstetten, had the Stiftsamt Ansbach as landlord . Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Mühlgut received the number 2 of the village Höfstetten when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the municipal edict, Höfstettermühle was assigned to the Brodswinden tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Brodswinden, founded in 1811 . In the 19th century the property included 4.5  hectares of arable land and meadows. In the official registers after 1885, the Höfstettermühle is no longer listed as a district.

On July 1, 1972, the Höfstettermühle was incorporated into the city of Ansbach as part of the regional reform .
